In search of coyote #10

It has been a few months now that I have been hunting for my coyote #10. I did a lot of trail cam recording of their activities at the spot where the farmer buried all the dead calves. At least 3 groups of coyotes that come to salvage food here and my trail cam captured them at different times, mostly at night but sometimes in bright day lights as well.

I finally got an opportunity to go out the other night (May 4th) and I happened to see three coyotes in the adjacent field as I was pulling into the farm at 7:30pm. I thought this would be the night to finally encounter with the coyotes at the feeding spot.

Timing is everything... Watch on and find out.

Nice video its nice to see something real and realistic. Lol i was thinking I would see a bunch of unrealistic shots like 300 yard pluss shots with dead right there resultskeep up the good work and sooner than latter the yote stomache will lead you to victory

Thank you for watching. Yes, they will continue to return and scavenge for free food. I just have to get lucky and encounter them when I do show up one night.

Thanks Struckat. Absolutely. I definitely need to have more trigger time practice shooting from that platform during the day when I get the chance and when the time comes, I will have a higher rate of success. Just have to pick a lucky night when they would show up. I will have the farmer inform me when he is burying any dead calves then I will try to be there in a day or two. Thanks for watching.

These coyotes are only bold in urban areas—in the wild, they’re extremely wary. Last month I went hunting and spotted a coyote. I chased it across two ridges, but every time I saw it, it was 150 to 200 yards away and would run off immediately. After a few hours of tracking, I finally gave up.

@Leo C. Yes, they are used to the freedom of coming and going into these farms where lots of free meals for them to salvage. I just have to get lucky one night to encounter with them.
