In my younger days,I always wanted a Crow Magnum or the Theoben Eliminator

Sometimes I do think that way, getting something I always wanted ,but could not afford, now I maybe able to afford it.It like a goal or being able to finally do it.But in reality the money can be put to better use,but sometimes reality is a bummer.
Another thing is that most of my guns are worth more than I paid for them, an investment, yes, that's it;)

You should have bought the Sirocco Deluxe. Much better real world. Carried mine afield countless times. Can run 20 ft lb and so many guys detune their Eli to less. I'm currently running 16. Tack driver. Eli thumbhole is too slim for me so that's out anyway. The Deluxe is lighter and has a better (different trigger) trigger feel. Many consider the early longer stroke pre HE to be the smoothest. Options exist for crown seals now.
I have 3 Deluxes but my favorite is the later one that I bought in 1988 because it can be charged without removing the stock. Also has the dummy piston that the later Sirocco Classic came with. I have a pattern now (thanks to a member that traded me a stock that turned out to be cracked....NP I'm not whining) and I'm in the process of building a beautiful figured walnut stock for it. It's already duplicated. Already made a custom steel trigger guard. Eventually, since I'm only 65 and have about 30 years left 👍 , I want to make a cool set of rings for it.

Siroccos are rare in the states because the Eli's won the HP war. My opinion it's better than the Eli or porky HW90. Real world.

I have less than 10 and I already find the number excessive, especially that I don't even shoot them anymore.

After a while, a new gun begins to loose its novelty; it's how I feel.

I'd buy good optics instead of new guns.

Well...Congrats on winning the bid! Now...please video your first attempt at cocking one of these beasts, especially if it's anywhere near full power...The little brother Crusader at 19fpe would do me in after 50 shots, these Elinimators and Crow mags are a magnitude above them to cock, may work for you but were wall hangers only for me. Wish I'd known you were looking at them would have liked to chat with you about Theobens.

Congratulations on the win! I had wanted one too, but at the time it was more than I was willingly to spend. That was "real" gun money. I really have been spoiled by the smoothness of the PCP shot cycle and while I'd might like to just have one, I don't think that I would shoot it much at this point. They are good looking guns to just hang on the wall too though.

When I was young and happily shooting my Webley Vulcan, the Crow Magnum came on the scene. I had to have one. I saved up the money to get one and bit off more than I could chew. Knowing what I know now, I kinda wish I still had it. But I don’t think I would seek out and buy one now.
I went for the Beeman Commemorative R1.
That one was stolen but the thieves missed the

Vulcan. 👍

I've been slowly collecting super magnum springers for a few years now and an Eliminator is the last gun on my list. I'd love to have a Dual Magnum or a Whiscombe too, but those are just out of my price range and unless I win the lottery will continue to be. Ultimately I'd like to do a side by side comparison of them all, Eliminator vs Patriot vs Hatsan 135 vs Gamo Magnum vs Trail XL vs Diana 56.
