Looking for a quality moisture separator and I’m not fond of the Amazon cheap nor want to pay 4 hundred for one at hpa air . Is there a solid middle ground cost unit?
I have been using the filter featured on this page for four years, and not a single drop of water has penetrated my tanks. Regardless of the filter you choose, it's not a matter of 'install and forget.' They remain effective only as long as you regularly check them and keep spare replacements on hand.

Sorry to bother you again. How often would I change the desiccant’s in them.
That all depends what compressor you are using -filling tanks- filling air guns only-what pressure - many variables. You can do a search on here or ask the question on a new post. BTW I changed the beads to something different then what they had in them. Time will tell as I have always used dive shop air and don't want to give you wrong info.

Hello,
What you should get is a vibration meter that will tell you how long the air pump has been running. If you have a water cooled system, place the meter in an area that won't activate while only the coolant is circulating. With the meter, you will know when you should be changing or servicing your compressor.
