In and around Atlanta?

Anyone here who have not shot with our little group that know of a place within 2 hours drive from Atlanta for pest removal or hunting with airguns? Besides the occasional sniping of starlings at the place I go shoot, I haven't had a chance to hunt or remove pests.

Look for Dairy farms in your area they are usually plagued with birds and rodents eating the feed and possibly spreading disease. When you show them the low power of the air rifle won’t cause damage to their property there is a chance they will let you help exterminate the pests that plague them. One tip don’t leave the dead carcass lying around clean up your kill and turn down the power we’re a miss may damage property if you want to come back. Check out Airborne Arms videos he does this down in New Zeeland. Up north were I live some farmers will let kill ground hogs that dig up the pastures but its usually a long range than my Air gun skills but not my target Ruger 10/22

O know you aren't much for competitions but if you hook up with the field target group in Heflin you will likely find more opportunities than you can accept.

Hey man, I will keep an ear out and do some inquiries. I know a few folk around that either have land, or may know someone who does. Is the Spring and summer a good time? Or no? Hit me up if you are meeting to shoot, may not be able to make it out, but I sure will try.

Sorry, I realize it's an hour(two with time shift) west of Atlanta, but a few of them live in your area so it's worth the chance to attend a match there.

That eastside club is only about 20-30 minutes from me. I know a couple of shooters that do FT there.

Right on. The Gauntlet you bought should be a good gun for hunter class. They shoot year round so attending a match shouldn't be a big deal. Also if you'd like I can get in contact with the match directors or atlanta airgunners and mt cheha(sp) airgun club about contacting you for future shoot dates or meeting at the ranges for fun.
