Impressive Performance from the Western Bushbuck .45 Air Rifle- Bear Hunt

Good video.
I have mixed emotions on baiting. However I have done it with bears. They are very hard to get within bow or air gun range and just finding one is tough on spot and stalk hunting. Bears are tough, much tougher than deer when it comes to killing shots. The bait allows you a better chance of an optimal shot placement.

I like bear hunting. Personally I grew up hunting them with dogs. So baiting them is totally foreign to me. I know what it takes to hunt and harvest them using dogs. What I can respect about this man’s approach is the way he walked us through parts of his process and his respect for the animal. He didn’t take the first one that he saw (at least not on film). He set his cameras and bait stations out and it appears that he took his time. He was smart to carry a sidearm. I really thought this was a well presented hunt. I like how he showed us where the shot hit and how the bear met its demise. I also appreciate the variety and abundance of game animals present in the locations he baited and filmed. Anyone have any idea which state this was filmed in?

@Chukar60 If you’ve taken bear with a bow and arrow, hats off to you sir!!! That sounds impressive. I agree. They are tough and durable animals that are formidable game especially in mountainous terrain. They are also majestic and amazing to watch.
