Impressed with newly Huma'd Royale!

Been shooting the .22 barrels more than anything else lately, but just installed a Huma as I shot some long strings and wasn't too blown away with the FX reg. It honestly wasn't terrible or anything but there's room for improvement. First time running it over the Chrony at high power (55 FPE). This is shooting .25 MKII.

First up a 50m one shot per target style.

Then some groups at 100m, nothing too amazing all my best groups were spoiled by a flier. It was pouring rain to boot but no wind and all shot out of magazines.

Hole below group was last shot of the tank, refilled tank and shot the 5 shot group.

RATS spoiled by a flier!

Last but not least, look at these consistent strings! Nice low ES and SD.

Tried a couple different speeds.

Nice all the way around!!

Sounded like a busy day at the range.

:)

Thanks Bob, thats actually a quiet day there haha. Only about 4 of us shooting the weather was kind of crap. But this time of year gotta take them as they come.

Ive been sitting there plinking away and some guy with a 300 win mag or .338 lapua sits next to me with a muzzle break. Brutal, i was laughing because the muzzle blast with the brake was literally blowing my hair every shot. Thankfully those guys usually dont shoot many more than 10-15 rounds. Regardless i always have fun when i go and some older gentleman was shooting a .17hmr and. 22 mag was SUPER interested. Showed him some targets and he was blown away. Let him shoot some spinners at 50m and he loved it.

Always worth and trip and my plan/goal is to shoot a 1/2 MOA group at 100m with this gun. Just one, one flier away from it today. 5 shots under .58 would do it i think at 109y

Good shooting! Have you tried JSB and Air Arms 18.1s between 920-960fps? You may have pleasant surprise...

CA

Thank you sir!

Above is all .25 cal shooting but, I have tried the 18.1 JSB's with the .22 ST and LW Poly and they did amaze me. Tighter groups with the ST with those, and I also love the AA branded kings in .25. I haven't bought the actual JSB Kings in about a year just been shooting the AA ones as they're a couple bucks a tin cheaper haha.

Below is exactly what you're talking about the 18.1s in that speed range, yes I know only a 3 shot group but I just had to stop there. 100m

Looks like you're having lots of fun Nathan. It is always mind blowing to sit and shoot over your chronograph with the humor regulator in your rifle and look at those tight numbers! You obviously have her tune to perfection!

I'm going to the range tomorrow 2 shoot my Wildcat 30 100 yards to see how she does at this new setting. Got her shooting the 50 fifty grainers at 880 ft per second average instead of 900 Plus before. At 50 yards at that velocity she just drops every shot in the same hole without even trying. So I'm anxious to see if slowing them down helps them be more accurate at a hundred.
