impressed with HW50s

I tried a few different pellets in my new to me .22 HW50s that I got from John in PA with his full tune on a trade.
At 32 yds it shot 4 different pellets into a ragged hole, different POI on each but hole looked basically the same for 5 shots...
Pellets tried were Crow Mags, Accupells, H/N FTT and Crosman HPs from Amazon, it is definitely not pellet picky gonna be a nice little squirrel hunter.
All shooting was done with elbow just resting on deck rail.

The factory 50 is an awesome little gun all by itself. A properly tuned one is amazing. Congrats on the shooter!

You made me do this. HW50 177.
Did a few shots at about 3/8” dots @ 25yd. Not too bad could use higher than 7x . But a good hunter or plinking scope.

I have a Hawke Vantage 2x7 on mine perfect scope for these guns and squirrel hunting.. good shooting.

The HW50 is the Goldilocks of the Weihrauch line up. One of my favorites. Everyone should own one.

I wasn’t terribly impressed with the accuracy of my .177 HW 50 S when I first got it. After running a few tins through and finding the right pellets, however; it really is starting to shine.

Mine is in factory condition running about 11 foot pounds. It is a legitimate 40 m squirrel killing machine.
