Awesome Deutsch! Ran into a bear last Sunday at my squirrel spot. He really worked over the feeders, this is one.

I was about 10 feet away from it last weekend he ran up a tree and was huffing at me lol. Theres another feeder but it's been "removed" and cant find it yet. Brought a shotgun this week just in case.

Cut a 50m range from my tent platform and enjoying this lovely impact. Hard to see but it's out there

Holy sh...... that looks like a healthy brownie! Glad we don't have them in big numbers down here in WA, but the G29 is always ready with 220gr hard cast just in case (I've been face to face with plenty of black ones though).

New to fx.. but u just know wen u know. That's the one!!! Fx impact mk2 700mm blk....one thing to keep in mind..(since I'm new, & if ur new too) I shot mines since the day I got it on a daily easily a tin a day..300-350....wore off the lube/grease on the action..and since this is the only gun with a thousand screws....some came loose..but the ability to adjustability is endless....tuned at 930's shooting the jsb heavys 33's. Zeroed at 50yrds... soon to be a sluger

Looks great Nathan, congratulations! Just for fun shoot some 34 MKI pellets at around 1000 ft/s through your slug liner with this new Impact and tell me what happens please...

Best regards, Chuck

Hey Chuck,

I have the reg set in a happy place, about 148 Bar. I can get to 930fps with that and yeah they are laser accurate, same with the MKII. Had some impressive results at 60 yards with the 34 and 31.5gr VK slugs (my range so far) and also the slugs I make are doing well being unsized. Have a sizer in .25 on the way and man do they ever hit hard. Spoiled myself a bit and have a Sidewinder ED 10-50x60 on the way for the impact. Always wanted more mag than my Panorama can offer.

Awesome! Not new but new to Impacts sure. The only thing i've had come loose is the pellet probe set screw, added some green loctite and its been rock solid. What reg pressure are you setting it for the 930's?

I found a happy place around 147-148 on the reg. I put moly grease on the moving cocking linkage parts and they seem to like that that.

Nice Glem!

When I got mine, Ernest had the reg set at 148bar and told me that was where it seemed to perform the best.

:)

Haha that's awesome! I actually tried 150, 155, 160 but didn't seem to make more power with everything stock.

Was out there today and plinking around, fixed the feeder the bear trashed and setup in a new place.

Made a target backer out of 4x6 for should hold up for a while. This target is 60y from the platform.

Cleared the range a bit more today.

Second feeder built and set up about 26 yards away.

Glem, hope you have better luck with your high power sidewinder than I did. If it is a Second Focal Plane scope like mine was the POI shift between powers and at longer ranges like 75-100 is crazy. You almost have to sight it in at one magnification setting and leave it, for me in an ever changing pesting environment for distance it became almost un-usable at the higher magnifications above 36x for instance. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah ill keep an eye out for that, we dont have much selection up here for upper middle quality scopes with high mag. I've had great results with the 6-18 panorama that was cheap but can't see myself dropping 3-4k for a schmidt. The sightron 10-50 is sold out otherwise I would have considered that.

Hopefully it's a keeper and thanks for the heads up.

Wow nice Nathan! I just checked out the scope you put on her and it is really awesome! I like the fact that you can change the turrets out and set it up for 1/4 clicks, 1/8 clicks, or mil to suit your personal preference, and as an added bonus it comes with a side wheel, and lens caps. Rather than me sound like a commercial for Hawke, here is a link in case anyone else wants to check out all its cool features. I know a couple guys that shoot FT with these scopes and the word is they track as nice as the Sightrons...which is an amazing compliment! https://us.hawkeoptics.com/sidewinder-ed-10-50x60-tmx.html
