I have installed a Edgun digital pressure gauge. Regulator pressure was 136 bar. I bumped it up to 140 bar. Just like that,I lost about 100 fps velocity. Power wheel is at it's normal max. Opening up the front valve control to wide open,I can only get a max velocity of 803 fps. I turned the regulator pressure up to 144 bar and there was no change. I noticed the regulator pressure changes a bit from one check to the next....143 bar to 148 bar. Breach O-ring looks and feels OK when closing the probe. No puff of air in firing.
Did removing the bottle and degassing the regulator a few times cause a bit of foreign matter get into the regulator?.....or some other problem? It's a new rifle with about 1,000 shots and was running right around the desired 860 fps for the 44gr pellets. With all those shots,I noticed the first shot after the rifle has sat overnight was an inch low at 55 yards from the next 4 shots......and that is why I installed the Edgun pressure gauge...to see what was going on more accurately
