Impact vs Crown

Soooo, today for the very first time I was able to shoot as well with my Impact as I always have with my Crown. It's been a struggle for me to adjust to the bullpup style rifle. 

The target on the right is the Crown, left is Impact. I do have to say that I shot much quicker, and with less care with the Crown as I'm very used to it, so had i taken my time like i had to with the Impact it would have been different.

43 yards, both .25 at 850 fps 34gn JSB

Literally no wind, 65 degrees

Nice shooting! I have to say, toss a few fliers and both targets look about the same to me. That is quite the color scheme you have going on your Impact. It looks like a camo scheme if you were trying to hunt inside a Sephora.

I hunt at Sephora more than in the woods...lol

For me that was good shooting. I'm sure most of you would do better with the equipment I have, but I'm happy with it so far.

What really trips my trigger is no longer having to worry about having enough air no that I have the LC110.

Mighty fine shooting Val. You definitely have those two babies dialed in with a steady trigger finger. Digging that Wheeler 30 piece set also!

I especially love posts where shooters pit their two guns against each other, because I like to do that myself, especially on a windy day. Just double checking the wind for if I have a gun problem or a me problem. ;-)

Seriously tho, being two different guns, maybe they aren't both going to be happy at the exact same velocity. Harmonics and all that.

Your Crown is happy at 850 fps 34gn JSB. Maybe tune the Impact a little higher or lower say 840 or 860 till you find the perfect sweet spot.

Or have you already done all that and the two guns coincidentally landed at the same velocity?
