Tuning Impact valve knob hitting shroud

Is anyone’s Impact valve knob hitting the barrel shroud. I’m having this issue with my 500mm compact and 600mm barrel. Is there a simple modification that I can do.

Yep mine does that. But on my 700 it does not.

The 700mm shroud is coned at the end and clears the knob on mine.

I had exactly the same issue with my 600mm .30 cal Impact barrel on my M3. The 700mm shroud with harmonic tuner is coned at the end and does (mostly) clear the knob when I put it on my 700mm barrel. However, when I screw the know all the way out (well beyond the 4 lines) it will still touch on the flutes of the knob, but not on the grooves.

I wonder if anyone can make a longer liner lock to push the shroud forward.

Have it on my .177 barrel. As long as you can turn the knob past the 4th line, I do not think it matters much.

I agree, the bad thing is I can only screw the knob to line 2 before hitting the shroud.

If you just got it, I would contact the dealer, as the lenght of the shroud might be wrong.

Found the fix. Just add a Carbon Fiber piece to

push the shroud forward and add tension to the barrel.
