Impact transfer Port change out

Looking at installing a Huma dual transfer port to my Impact barrel and was wondering if damage to the o-ring that holds the liner in place could occur due to heating to break the thread lock?. Would that o-ring need to be replaced also and if so, how do you get to that to replace?

Of course the heat will damage the O rings. Get a cheap set of dental picks from a flea market or cheap hardware store to remove the 3 O rings, then you can use them over again. Also get some silicone grease to lube them. You can also get this from a good hardware store.
