Impact telescoping shroud length?

What is the length difference between fully closed and fully open?

The posted specs on the FX website list 760mm overall length when closed and 920mm overall when extended so if my math is correct that would be 6" of extension and an overall length of 36" when extended. Is that right?

My should only extends 3" and my guns overall length when extended is 33.5"

Mine is a .22 if that matters. I didn't see a difference in the specs on the FX website.

.177 & .22 are less longer than .25 & .30 barrels. (I don't have .177)
- My .22 (only shroud) length is : ~ 315mm / 395mm
- My .25 (only shroud) length is : ~ 320mm / 480mm
- My .30 (only shroud) length is : ~ 320mm / 480mm
If i unmount shroud (22 & 25) the size of barrel is very different 22 is pretty short when 25 is much longer.

Interesting. Based on your measurements, the 25 and 30 have 6" of extendibility on the shroud but the 177 and 22 only have 3". That would explain why the 22 seems much louder.

I wonder why they would make them so much shorter?
