Impact sticky first stage trigger

My first stage wouldn't reset without pulling it back, or shooting the gun.

I called FX and he had me turn in the middle, larger screw behind the trigger in 1/4 turn. Worked great. 

Your gun may not need the whole 1/4 turn.

I had this problem

When I set the trigger at the lowest pull weight right at second stage trigger jammed and hand push needed to return it at it’s position. But if you screw in second stage screw that’s mean you can’t go that farther.

The reason why this is happening is due to a very slight chamfer which forms on the sear contact areas after some use.

When the trigger is set very crisp, these 2 slightly chamfered surfaces "catch up", and the first stage spring is not able to reset the trigger anymore.

When you turn in the set screw with the spring loaded ball bearing ever so slightly, the sear doesn't reach that area anymore when hitting the second stage, and the first stage is able to reset again.

The result is a little bit of a heavier second stage, but this is barely noticeable.
