Is that a completely new trigger block? Bigger regulator now where the fill port use to be. One gauge each side for bottle and regulator pressure.
Fill port now on the side next to the gauge.
I really like what you have done. Very clever.
No more removing the trigger to get to the regulator and more room to fit a descent size reg in there. Much easier to get at and adjust.
I can’t see any down side to what you have done.
Really amazing .![]()
When do you go into production mode?
I'm pretty sure FX isn't!
Sure wish I had your talent.
That looks like a good sold piece. Nice machine work too. Since it appears you have access to a machining center to make things, check this crude print out. Feel free to use my design, modify it, mass produce it, or what have you. It essentially makes the back of the Impact one solid piece, once screwed together, and adds plenum volume.

Impressive Spider. I applaud not only your work here, but the balls you had to dive into this kind of work on an impact, the gun that makes the average pcp user shy away from any modifications.
I like it so much, that if I were an impact owner, your mailbox would have another message in it (probably already filling up)

It looks like it cracked at the back near the grip is it functional feel free to send me the prototype when you make the new one![]()

From an engineering point of view, making a pressure tank square in cross section can be dangerous if one doeas not know what one is doing. The forces involved behave quiet different than on a cylindrical tube. The flat walls probably has to be allot thicker compared to a tube. If you ever get one made, you must be sure it can handle the pressure.
