Impact Pellet probe

It seems blue thread locker should do the trick. Wouldn't recommend anything stronger than that.

Ok, thank u very much! 👍🏻

Hey Patrick,

We have 2 Impacts and the same happens on both. I've used both purple thread-locker and VC3, neither seem to do the trick. A couple of days ago, I used blue thread-locker and it seems to be holding. Be sure to let it cure for 24 hours. -Dave

Hi Dwilson

well it seems to be a Impact issue. Thanks for the Tipp, Ive tried to crank it really hard but it gets loose after a while. I think I’ll try the purple, and if it doesn’t work I’ll go to the blue. Cause I think I striped already a bit of the screw.. 🤔

Yep, while I haven't shot mine since I applied the blue Loctite, I suspect I'll have the same problem @DShepard. I seem to remember something awhile back where Ernest opened up the hole a bit and installed a larger grub (sorry, I can't find that article). If mine comes loose again, I think I'll order a new part from Fx. If I encounter the same problem after that, I'll likely drill it out and have a larger custom replacement grub machined. -Dave
