Impact not feeding a pellet from magazine every time.

I have found out the small rubber balls in the gun can make it worse if they are missing. When using the side shot mag, only the 2 upper balls should be present, while the other are to be taken out (if you installed the sideshot bracket yourself). If all balls are missing, the mag will have a loose fit, and may not be angled 90 degree toward the probe.

Now THAT is a very viable observation worth noting... Yo!

FX contacted me about the problem. I was not aware that there are Six rubber balls. I saw only four. The two I put back in thinking they were the upper two were actually the middle two. The Tech had me remove them leaving the two above the barrel in. This helped but did not solve the problem. The last full Sideshot mag I fired had two air shots (no pellet) in the first three shots. I tried the original mag and had an air shot with it. I will contact FX again for help. They have been very responsive. The Sideshot system is new. I had no problems with the original mag prior to installation of the Sideshot.

I put a wrap of electrical tape around the inside of the mag after taking it apart and seems to have fixed the issue.

Pointing at where here. Seems the area the pellet/slug goes is too loose gives them room to flip over in .25.

Also gave it an extra turn of spring tension.

I contacted FX again and told them that I was still having problems with the mag. I could feel when a pellet went into the barrel. When it did not I tapped the mag and then it would rotate and present a pellet. I just received an email from FX stating that a new mag was on the way and a return box for the defective mag. Fantastic service!! This is why I have a new Wildcat III 30 on order. PA says not until 7/13.
