So this is what my c1 looks like at 6.5 mm maybe only halfway down the threads if I screw it all the way down in a little over 10mm
I pulled the reg didnt see any damage cleaned and relubed correctly stacked washers and its adjusting properly now!![]()
Is it pulled out that far just for all to see the threads on the rod, or is it actually now as I see it at 6.5mm from block face to end of the C1? If it’s the latter, it sure looks like it’s way too far out. You are measuring it from the lower portion of the block, correct, where it steps in? And I, also had to unthread mine to get to the 6.5 measurement, but not that much
It is pulled out so you can see the amout of thread that is left. If pushed all the way back in that position will give me the 6.5mm from the shoulder to the face of the receiver.
Now if I thread it down to the end of the thread it will be going deeper into the receiver making my measurment 10mm from shoulder to face.
I have it set at the 6.5 now but the valve spring has alot of pressure on it causing it to close much quicker set on the 4th line I'm only getting 850 fps with 130 reg pressure and maxed hammer, now if I back out the valve spring almost off I can get high 900s.
This leads me to believe the newest impact mk2 with the power plenum. Need the c1 screwed in farther. That would put less pressure on the valve adjuster spring and allow me to have it threaded into the 4 adjustment ring lines.
Sorry for long explanation but this is what makes sense to me.
