Impact , maverick 30's clarity

When one purchases a 30 cal Impact, Maverick, Wildcat, are the "internals " the same as the 22/25 cal guns? I would assume there are hammer and valving changes.

Thus, if one were to purchase a gun with the plan to switch between 30 & 22 you would want to buy a 30 and go down not the other way.

What exactly are the differences?

Just wanting some experienced knowledge. Thanks.

My Maverick Compact in .30 came with a heavy hammer weight. Fortunately the heavier weight was achieved by a washer looking weight on the hammer weight. When I change to 600mm barrel in .22, I make two changes: (1) Remove one washer from the final regulator; (2) Remove the extra weight from the hammer weight. You can of course buy different weights for your hammer from FX USA directly. Impact also has different hammer weights.

The video above is right about the Maverick. I have the Sniper in 22 and 25 and the factory hammer weights are not the same. I had FX send me a .25cal hammer weight for the 22cal since it cannot come close to the 71 foot pound max with the standard 22 hammer weight. The 30cal hammer weight is too much in my opinion unless you want to have your 22 or 25 maxed out all the time. You can still hit 66 foot pounds in the 22 cal using the 25cal hammer weight. You can hit 77 foot pounds in the 25cal without using the 30cal hammer weight, maybe even more, but that is as far as I have went.
