Did you leave a sharp edge? I had to chamfer it using the same angle as metal sealing surface?

When I was there (couple times) I ported the Rear Block to a 7.2x9.2 mm slot, ported the Valve House from 6.5 to 7.4 mm, I made couple scenarios with the peek poppet and finally ended up with 8.2 mm. And I left the front Rad 0.3.

Screenshot some of these mods. Finally I ended up with a power increase = aggressive.

At the moment cannot upload images, must be again some server issues "unable to create upload directory".

Edit: finally got the pictures uploading. These were my changes un-restricting the air passage only (like a stage #1 chip tunning the car, just to remove the restrictions), I have many alterations at the front end.

I wound up making something kind of similar for my Maverick a couple of months ago to increase the poppet travel (+ a heavier return spring). I figured there was little sense in having 90cc's of plenum without being able to dwell longer lol
