Impact M3 huma air hornet

Hello, has anyone tried the huma air hornet conversion on an M3?

I was considering getting an M3 compact and converting it...but will the M3 bottle valve fit the dreamline compact bottle? Also, anyone have any feedback on this kit? I think the kit is specifically designed for the mk2 but I don't see why it wouldn't work on the M3...

I think that you should get and shoot the gun before making the additional purchase from Huma, especially if it will be a .22 cal gun.

Of course YMMV but I am very happy with my .22 cal M3 Compact's noise level even without the included DFL moderator. And it makes for a nice and compact package.

I was going to post saying pretty much the same thing you did but you beat me to it. Thought I'd post it anyway and +1 on what you said. Did this to my Gen1. Made a moderator to match the shroud too.

Thanks for the feedback, and great looking guns guys. I agree with all the comments, if I do go with the compact I will definitely shoot as is before getting any kits I would also agree that the shot count would be rather low...I was more curious than anything if anyone had any experience with this kit and how it shoots and how quiet it is. HUMA tends to enjoy marketing unproven claims, some of which are quite bold.

It would cost more...but the large diameter suppressor would fit...if Huma did a similar design as what's on most Edgun barrels, that is, offsetting the suppressor centerline up from the barrel centerline and away from the air cylinder. This would put the barrel low on the new suppressor diameter.

It would give the large diameter look AND still fit the stock gun.
