impact M3, grub screw in valve knob?

Hi all,

I just received my M3 in .30

At first I thought I received a broken one, cause nothing happend when I cocked the gun and fired. You could hear the hammer move a bit, but absolutely no air came out of the barrel.

I then noticed the valve knob was completely turned in. So I turned it to line 4, and it shoots well now.

But I see screw holes in the valve knob, and on Airbuks' video I see he has grub screws in his knob.

But I don't . I just have empty holes where a screw could go in, but no screw .

Did your impact have screws in the valve adjuster knob? Should it come with screws?

Does anyone know what size it should be, I'm sure I can order some from Amazon .

Mine has no screw. Should it have?

I have no screws in either hole on that valve knob. But I can't remember if there were ever screws in there. Mine shoots fine. Funny, I just noticed this last night and was wondering the same thing.

Maybe the holes are provided in case that the user wants to add them and lock down that valve knob?
