Tuning Impact M3 compact valve adj. knob blocked by shroud

Hello,

I'm busy trying to tune an impact M3 compact .22 to shoot slugs. Trying to open the valve, I noticed that I could not go as far as I would have liked to: the shroud is in the way.

Have you noticed that and found a way to get around the problem?
