thanks scope is the new Aztec love it yes I use a rear bubble level made by extreme hardcore gear love it how it mounts out of the way

just I little review since last time chrony was great today just thought re check it. 18 shots with 18 jsb average was 889 on power 5 sd was 5 power 4 average was 875 sd was 5 es was 12 love it seems like I got it where it shoots great

Or better, use your regular nail polish 
and place one drop in the hole where the threads are visable.
Then you will see if it has rotated
Or even better use a thin steel wire, loop around the threads and twist to secure the set screw.
Your regular loctite does not work on passive surfaces. the common types of loctite that people have in their garages need iron Ions
to harden.
The screw is black iron chromated or passivated, and the plate is aluminum.
Might work anyway. But more likely it will stay liquid for 2 days and just eventually dry from air evaporation
and place one drop in the hole where the threads are visable.Then you will see if it has rotated
