its a great gun really getting use to it. ill post few groups I shot last night and will testing 42 yards 18 shot groups 
 
Or better, use your regular nail polish :) and place one drop in the hole where the threads are visable.
Then you will see if it has rotated

Or even better use a thin steel wire, loop around the threads and twist to secure the set screw.

Your regular loctite does not work on passive surfaces. the common types of loctite that people have in their garages need iron Ions
to harden.
The screw is black iron chromated or passivated, and the plate is aluminum.
Might work anyway. But more likely it will stay liquid for 2 days and just eventually dry from air evaporation
