So after waiting two months, the FX Impact X in .22 cal. finally came in. I got it 4 days ago and have been shooting it ever since. After cleaning it and putting 1000 rounds through it, I'm pretty amazed at the work you are able to do with it - amazingly accurate right out of the box. I routinely shoot in 10-15mph winds, and holdovers are super consistent with this gun. Taking shots at 100y at grackles and starlings is super predictable. I feel like I can't miss!
I will say, when you get into this sport, like anything, you end up buying things you never thought you would need, like a range finder and a chronograph... which I will get this week to further tweak the accuracy. Below I posted the final sight-in 5 shot group at 100 yards - the covered shots are sight in and windage from a previous group. I think with some tinkering I could do better. Thanks to all on this site for helping me fall back in love with shooting again!
