My 16 month old Impact in 30 went back to FX for leak issues. While it was there I had them add the power plenum to it. Got it back and I have noticed a couple of things.
1. It seems substantially louder now than it was before. Loud enough that It was apparent to me in the first couple shots. The reg settings are the same as it was when it went in as is the valve adjustment. I was shooting it on power wheel max (regulator at 140) before the power plenum and to get it sound like it did prior I have to turn the power wheel adjustment to 3...
2. I don't hear that poof/air sound coming from the inside the plenum after I fire off a shot like I do when I shoot my 25 with the power plenum or the 35 I had for a spell that also had the same sound.
I assume I should be hearing the air entering the plenum after a shot as I do on my other impacts? Accuracy seems fine, it shot well but these two things have me scratching my head. Any insights?
