Impact, Huma transfer port, how do I get the barrel off w/o damaging it?

I just got the new Huma transfer port and am trying to get the old one off the barrel w/o damaging it. Not having any luck using my hands to unscrew it.



Anyone got any suggestions?

You have to put in a vise and heat the transfer port ( use a brass sleeve around transfer port)

Yep needs a good dose of heat, you can put something round inside the port to twist it off to avoid marring it also.

I would remove the liner or at least pull it out a littlebit first
