Impact Compact

Hi Guys, 

I am torn between purchasing the 600mm MKII Impact and Impact Compact 500mm. I can't decide. 

Does anyone have any experience shooting 80yards/meters plus with the Compact in .25 cal preferably or .22 cal ? 

how many shots will I get with the 300cc bottle ?

I was getting about 70 shots with 600mm barrel 480cc bottle shooting the .25 kings @ 900fps. If I was to take a guess I'd say 40+.

Well maybe like comparing a Gala apple to an Fuji apple but with my FX Crown Continuum in .25 cal. I have had not problem connecting on pigeons past 80 yards with a 380 mm barrel shooting the Hades 26.54 grain pellets at 840 fps. I would believe the Impact in .25 cal. would give you as good performance with even better power. The shorter barrel should not have anything to do with accuracy only the amount of power output. If you watch the 68 Whiskey videos shooting their Crown Continuums and relate the power and accuracy output to what the FX Impact Compact should be capable of doing accuracy and distance wise you should be good. I've seen them in action. Way past 100 yards with .25 Kings out of the 380 barrel in the wind.

I think you should get the compact, mainly because you can easily source the parts for 600 /700mm barrel, same goes for 480/580 bottle



But the reverse is not true, and probably won't be true in the future, given the compact is unlikely to outsell all of the 600 and 700mm currently in circulation

its out in Europe (at least Krale has it), so i imagine another two months before it lands state side?

I have the FX Impact Compact MKII in .22 and at starting pressure 250BAR I get 112 shots (4 full magazines) with the tank pressure still just tad higher 98BAR than regulator 95BAR. This is shooting JSB 18g pellets at average 850 fps, 8 ES and 2 SD.
