Impact accuracy in.177

I took this video and the supporting pictures for another thread. I realized that there really is not a lot of info on the Impact in .177 so I thought I would create a new topic and post it there. I’ve heard and read a lot about how smooth twist barrels aren’t so great in .177. While this may be true, I’ve seen nothing but performance out of mine. I apologize for the video quality. I hadn’t changed the iPhone quality settings as I never post videos. I’m shooting the JSB Heavies 10.34 here. The rifle shoots the 13’s great as well. My groups are not to be confused with the best this rifle can do as I had walked at a rapid pace to and from and then rapidly fired 10 rounds. I think you’ll see though that the rifle is quite capable.

Mine shoot the 10.34s okay as well, however I want to shoot the 8.44's excepting one tin of 4.53 exacts the rest are poor!

killer group, what scope are you using? I would have traded you some paper targets for that nice pine board, before the holes.

It’s a Hawke tac 30. 4.5-14 x 42. That Board is left over from building bird feeders. I’m going to use it to make some squirrel feeders later so the pellet holes don’t really matter much. Property I purchased has about 5 acres of hardwoods so I plan on putting 3 feeders out down there.

Looks like that impact in .177 is doing just great for you. Excellent group.

My wife just informed me of that. We had a shooting at a high school Friday as well. I recently moved out of jville. Bought a house far far away lol.

I have the .177 barrel and I enjoyed shooting the gun in .177. What prevents me from using it more often, is the magazines. I have two and both will fail to advance when the gun is being cocked for the next pellet. I don't have that problem with any of the other calibers.

Very happy with my Impact in .177, been shooting it almost every night @ 30 yards. 10.34 JSB's seem best so far. Need to get out to the range to shot the gun at 50 yards +

I was always wondering who is shooting the 177 impact with results 50 to 75 yards

May I ask what you did to get it shooting that good? I do not necessary need to know the exact adjustments values and speed you have, as I know it can differ from rifle to rifle. But more the process you did go trough to achieve the result you have? I and other might have something to learn here
