This is a grab from there press release. Barrel upgrade.
- For a limited time their is also available an upgrade barrel without sound suppression (owners can reuse existing sound suppression from their standard Impact barrels)

I'm having a hard time deciding between the 600 and 700 mm barrels for the impact. Big price difference. I definitely would be interested in shooting slugs from the X-barrel. But in any case it would be nice to see some comparison groups between the 600 and 700 mm barrels. Ernest?

There should not be major/any accuracy difference between the 600mm and the 700mm barrel. The 700mm barrel just allows you to obtain a higher speed with the same amount of air behind the pellet. So if you were accurate at 870 before, now you could be that same accurate at 890. Or you could turn the hammer down and get more shots per fill.

this group at 95y, my target is top left pellet impacts with the black inner circle, 5-10 winds. I think it’s a great groups to improve upon, with sorted pellets and better scope at least 25X, I was using 12X at the time.
when will you be able to share with us the data on The Xbarrels so I can decide what calibers and twist rate will be best for my Impact and Crown

The info i got was FX is releasing the 700mm x barrel as a package only,barrel/shroud/prob/modreator 429 +shipping from AOA

I've read that FX will be making liners that are optimized for different pellets and eventually slugs, but I haven't seen any sign that it's happened, or that they're available. Until there's a selection of liners available, it's hard for me to get too excited about upgrading to the X barrel.

I had also read that initially they will only have two sleeves per caliber as their production is working at capacity and their R&D has not completed their testing and design of to be made sleeves.

Harharrrrrr, tomorrow evening I will get the new smooth X barrels in 0.22 and 0.3 for my Impact, then I will go for testing this weekend ...
The 0.3 barrel I have to test by manual loading pellets, because the 0.3 caliber magazines are not available !

No testing, because dealer has sent the wrong barrel in 0,3 Cal. I got theX barrel in 600 mm length, but I require it with 700 mm. :angry:
I`ve also measured the impact for making a sideshot magazine on the mill, but a sideshot magazine would get in contact with my cheek.
