FX Impact .25 Slugs.

Just finished upgrading my m3 impact compact to a 700mm heavy barrel. Looking on some advice on what slugs people are having luck with in .25 Cal. Wanting something around the 38-40 grain mark.

thanks.
I've had luck with the Apolo 40 grain and 33 grain slugs, that for backyard target shooting,I wouldn't suggest going to a match with them before sorting them, but for 12 bucks you get 200. You can use them to find out what speeds your rifle shoots the best. The kill game really well also. Leads a little harder. In my panthera, it would shoot them thru two 2X4in pieces of wood.

H&N 40gr Heavy slug from my M3, 1:16 heavy liner.

These are very accurate out to 200 yards.
They are also the best slugs for hunting I've used.

H&N Heavy slug for me as well but the 38 gr. shot just a tad better than the 40 gr. but both were solid. I also have the 1:16 twist liner. NSA did not shoot in my 1:16 liner. I mean 3" to 4" groups at 50 yds.

.249 or .250 “ ?

I use .250 and H&N said in their testing they didnt see enough difference in FX liners between .249 and .250 to pick one over the other.
