Prismatic scope I wanted to try one of these and I just pulled the trigger on one 14x50 extended mildot reticle any one try them what are your thoughts and opinions vs like 6-24x50 ffp scope around the same price 400.00 bucks I got 2 helos gen2 ffp but haven't spent much time behind them yet and they are more expensive

I am using one with a simple MD reticle. I shoot in a gun club only and my L2 with IO 14x50 is a dedicated setup for silhouettes.
I like it, it was designed for airguns, and you don't need a brain to use the reticle:

zeroed @ 20 on a target paper, 910 fps

1 Mill up @40

1 Mill down @ 60, and

2.3 Mill down @ 80 meters

I bought one for my Leshiy2 10x40, it ended up on my wife’s Uragan compact. So far we really like the scope, it lightened up the gun over the talos ffp that was on it. It also moved the weight rearward which helps with her shooting off hand.

Seems like they are well liked once you used to it being back that far and get used to the eye relief as far as glass quality are they clear or good like they say

I like the glass on the 10x40, being fixed mag should have less elements and alignment issues.

The glass is impressive clear, and the field of view is impressive wide.

I put one, with the extended mil-dot, on my Red Wolf because it will parallax down to 6m. It's great for basement shooting. Tried it at the range last weekend and it was great for the 55yd shots, even at 14X. The only thing I would like to have is the mil graduations marked in 0.5 mil as opposed to 1.0 mil increments. I'm going to try it over the winter and maybe give it a shot at the FT matches when they start up in the spring.

I really like how it snaps in and out of focus so quickly for ranging.
