I’m thinking about putting a scope or red dot on my HW45 and HW75

I’d be interested in hearing about your success stories and failures. I have a set of Beeman fully adjustable rings with the pins that I think will work for one. They have an oddball dovetail size and don’t know where to source a set of rings for the other. Maybe a Fastfire would be a better idea. I don’t know. I have a couple Leupold 2x pistol scopes here that I’m not using so that would be the least expensive option.

Maybe not for everyone but with my old eyes I love my reflex sight, 3MOA.

your first need is to measure the rail width
where-as most guns will be in the 3/8-11mm range these can be 13mm and a standard dove tail will don't fit
Eaglevision in the UK has the mounts or at least the information

as the HW45 cock at opening it would be a better choice to add a reflex, scope or red dot
and with the HW75 you would be closing the cocking handle and what is there is now your handle

whatever you do , just mount it forward so you can close the gun with the pressure on the back sight area not on the mounted scope . that is what i did , works great , which is the way i cock my Hw75 anyway , Heal of my hand on the barrel just in front of the rear sight .
