I realize that these are no longer in production and sold "as-is". My question is if they are decent enough to consider at the reduced price? Most likely not going to be used on anything but pcp's.

I'm looking for some opinions on the AEON scopes.

Mike I have a 6-24x50 that I bought from a fellow airgunner it has a very fine reticle with the hash marks. It was to hard for him to see the reticle but works ok for me, one thing that I notice is with a dark background you have to look pretty hard to see it . Have to say it has pretty clear glass compared to my hawke 6.5-20 or my Athlon ffp . The cross hairs are fine for shooting paper but in my opinion not really good for hunting in the woods with quick shooting . I plan on sticking with ffp scopes & with a little high $ ones . Hope this helps out some . Darell

I have the 10-40 with the FT reticle

I have an 8-32 that I bought used. It is only usable at one magnification as the POI shifts 3/4" diagonally when changing from 16x to 8x. I do like the reticle with it's multiple aim points, but wish I could reliably dial down the magnification for offhand shots. I'm currently in the market for a different scope.

I only use mine at one magnification. I set the power knob to where the major division was 1" at 27.5 yards and locked it down

Not a bad scope for the money. I have the 6-24 trajectory reticle and absolutely love it on a cz 200 .177. That reticle paired up to Strelok pro make a nice pesting combo. Most people have problems with reticle. Pop starlings @ 80 yds with this rig. Good up to 20x.

I had the 10-40 not bad, then I tried the 10-50 ED. they put out and it was horrible.
I sent it back and bought a second Hawke 10-50 ED and all was good in the world.
