Just moved to Illinois, northwest part of the state. Anyone know what the area has for air gun interests?

I shoot at Plainfield, Il Airgun Range at Hickory Hills Rod and Gun Club. They have a web sit. I am the only airgunner member. Very nice club. 2 lakes for fishing,trap shooting on Sunday for public. You can shoot at the club anytime with a member. Come on any Sunday to shoot as a guest and get membership details.

Isn't there a 177 caliber restriction for airguns in Illinois thats why AZ moved out of state?

Allen Zasadney moved for personal family choice reasons, i was sad to see him leave, used to visit once a week.
No restrictions except for Cabellas. they won't ship to Illinois BUT ALL their competitors do. Talk about not understanding the printed law. They are missing out of sales due too idiot management.

I'm in northern Illinois. Nothing much around here as far as anything organized. If you're on Facebook check out Illinois air rifle club. The Admin. is located up by Freeport. He has had a couple of informal fun shoots.

I’m on the IL / Wis border on east side of the state. Most indoor gun ranges allow airguns but some do not out this way. Private land in the country is best place for shooting out this way. A good friend of mine has property that I shoot mostly at. Since I live in a subdivision & usually don’t get to shoot much at my house besides the basement range.
I to have been to AZ’s old shop in Antioch few times, I got a rifle tuned and custom LDC made for it. He used to be 25 min drive away drive from me. To bad he moved, but I totally understand, it’s becoming to expensive to live in this state, I’m out of here myself when I can retire lol

177 is legal here, 22 cal is not, my best friend's son was sent to prison for having a 22 cal break barrel unloaded & no pellets at all (foid card law), got 2 yrs , but got it overturned a yr later, & was released , he lost custody of his young son in the process , & the states attorney lost re election ...........true story , no lies

Hi Everyone,
I live in Huntley Illinois and just getting into air guns. I am also waiting on FOID card to be processed and looks like it will be a while. I have talked to a shooting range and you can shoot there. Was going to talk to a farmer and ask if I could shoot on their land for target shooting. Good luck finding a place.
