Iguana No2 quicky (Video)

Hi all,

I almost couldn't get this one. As soon as she saw me, she ran quickly and I though for an instance that I lost her. But realized she was there, by the fence, I think she felt safe at around 30 yards. But not with the Taipan at 30 yards.

This shot was quick, I didn't have much time for preparation, off hand. The impact was a bit low to my taste, I hit behind the mouth, but it looks like the slug damage is too much! It must have break her neck.

Hope you enjoy!

Your Taipan really did the trick, and man, that pellet hit like a ton of bricks!

And offhand none the less - so Very Nice shooting!

Darn I'll send you my son, give him the pellet and he'll shoot them all day long. we just came back from Puerto Rico and he decided to start the 3WW against the iguana there.
90 % of our shots were off hands too.

@Orion,

Nice one man, are you shooting slugs with the Vet long?

Yes, I’m shooting the NSA 36gr with the Veteran with great results. I did a video on my YouTube channel where I show the accuracy at 30 and 40 yards. Need to test at 50 and beyond,

just curious but are these vermin there ? do locals eat them or are they sold ?? Simply curious is all

Yes, here they are considered pest. Some people eat them but not common. They have salmonella and I personally won’t eat them, but this is a personal choice.

They were sold as pets few years ago, but they got lose and now we have a big mess with them all over.
