If You Own a RAW HM1000X, PLEASE . . .

show me what you have in photos. I have a .30 caliber RAW on order, but would like to see photos of your RAW and how you have it set up for either target shooting or for hunting. What accessories have you added to your RAW? Scope make, rings that work for your particular scope, and at what height - low, medium, high? Do you have a bipod? Make, and model? What accessories did you purchase, spare magazine, spare carbon fiber bottle, single shooting tray?

How do you care for your stock? What mods have you done to your RAW? Shooting information, FPS and FPE and accuracy up to how many yards? Pellet preference? What animals have you taken with it if used as a hunting rifle?

Just looking for detailed information on your RAW. Take a few minutes and help an impatient future owner of a RAW calm down until mine arrives, sometime early next year!

Fred I'm sure you have seen my thread but here it is anyway. http://airgunnation.dev/topic/at-long-last-rapid-air-weapons-hm1000x-25/ Lots of photos. I have 3 mags. The gun comes with one and I ordered a second one with the gun. Also the gun comes with a coupon for half off one mag so I used it for the third. I ordered mine with the accessory rail and picatinny bipod adapter. Also got the carbon fiber barrel sleeve.
I like my scope as low as possible. I found these UTG scope rings:http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_Max_Strength_30mm_Rings_Medium_Weaver_Picatinny/4921 to be perfect for my Falcon and Aeon scopes. Less than 1/16" clearance to the mag. Any lower and they would not fit.I have two sets one for the Falcon 5.5-25x50 FFP and one for an AEON 8-32x50 with target dot reticle. I can swap them at will. Works great! I'm not much of a hunter so mainly bench rest for me.
Anyway there is lots of info in my thread. Happy to answer any other questions. I know how hard waiting is believe me!

As you wish :)
HM1000x .30 cal. converted to .25 BSA barrel (custom home made shroud and barrel sleeve)
Walnut vertical target stock
Schmitty PMII 5-25x56 FFP H2CMR scope, poopty chinese TAC vector optics 12mm mounts (are gonna be replaced very soon by something more solid, these were the only fitting ones I had laying around)
Shooting king heavies at 283m/s, which makes 88 Joules.
Accurate? You bet ya, ragged holes at 50m all day long as far as I do my part :)

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but you'll get the point ;-) (hope it works out posting the photos, luckily, I'm better with a lathe than with computers...)

kind regards,

Gijs

Bipod is an Atlas clone which I borrowed of a fellow club member to try out. It is attached to a picatinny rail, and the picatinny rail is attached to the UIT (anschutz) rail with 2 t-nuts. They slide into the UIT rail (t-rail)
Better to try first before buying a 300+$ bipod, and finding out it is not for me ;-)
I'm more of a Harris guy, but the main advantage of the Atlas is that the legs can pivot under 45 degrees to the front, which is better for the balance to shoot it off a bench. (The forearm is rather short because of the bottle)
