Anyone who still has it in stock $600 unregulated Korean made 22 or 25 caliber Sumatra 2500 with 500cc reservoir with Eagle Vision or FX No Limits rings and Alpha6 4.5-27x50 and Neil Clague custom LDC and $50 Wal-Mart hand pump and $80 Gold filter. Might be just over $1000 though but right at $1000 without hand pump and filter. Easy power adjustable simple reliable trouble free as long as you don't add a regulator that will hinder long distance accuracy past 100 yards.

Substitute with an Air Force Condor 25 or custom TJ 257 if the Sumatra is unobtainable since you say 300 yards with this limited $1000 budget. Not that many airguns can reliably hit at 300 yards.

Get a used unregulated 22 FX Tarantula or spinoff relabeled brothers with their factory Lothar Walther pre FX Smooth Twist barrels they are 300 yard capable too as-is or a Career II 707 long in 22 or 25 and just keep them unregulated to shoot 300 yards.

If I had money to spend on a AG that meets those few requirements I would personally get a Veteran Long .25 or a Vulcan Gen2 .30.

That's what I would pick, along with a bunch of extra O-rings, mags, any part that may ever wear out & possibly be impossible to get from overseas. 

The 300 yards is absolutely possible with simple 25.43 or 33.95 JSB .25's. For example I have shot at 12oz cans at 305yrds using a .25 sending 33.95's out at 800fps and the mass majority in early morning no winds & direct hold over dropped in very nicely. 

I can think of several $1000.00 Airguns that tick every box except one. I'm a stickler so a BR crossover isn't really gonna make it. Not the true dedicated heavy rig built for competition level precise repeatability. Lots of these airguns with a well matched projectile can print 1/4-1/2" groups at 100 and literally hole in hole at 50 yards. One that can do it all and be considered lightweight? That's where we start splitting hairs and looking at more refined guns.

$1000+ meaning just over $1000, sub $2000, or any price above $1000???

I sold my 2nd owner March 3-24x42 for $1750 years ago, you might be able to get into a used one nowadays for $1400 or so.

I'd just buy a Athlon Midas TAC 6-24 and holdover a few mils after topping the turrets out for 300Y which I've done before

Since it’s scopes....I would get the 5-25X56 Crimson Trace 3 series that Midway is selling for 50% off at 499.49. Take the left over $500 and buy ammo, upgrade your air rifle or buy another air rifle. I would even consider buying two of those scopes at that price. It checks all your boxes besides lightweight. I’m a big guy at 260, what’s a few more ounces? Think of it as going to the gym to work out your arms without buying a membership. 💪 I ordered mine late last night and got a tracking number this afternoon. I don’t need another scope right now, I think I have about to 20 that aren’t even in use but I couldn’t pass on the deal. Besides, it gives me an excuse to look for another air rifle...
