I'd have no luck at all? Well bought the Sk-19 near two months back. Probly shot five or six hundred rounds through it. The best I could do was about 1 to 1-1/2 inch at seventy-five yards with a few to many fliers. I was pretty sure I saw some keyholing going on as well. I thought it should do better so took the barrel off looked it over and found the last 1/2 inch or so was looking pretty bad. Contacted the seller and they said to send it in. Good customer service and an easy thing to do so I sent it off. Well I received an e-mail a week or so later saying they were sending me a new barrel. USPS delivered my new barrel today. Such a deal

Yup they really had to try to mess this one up. Hard to believe they broke the cardboard tube it was shipped in into pieces. Penchetta said to just send it back again great customer service!

I feel for ya bio, somethin similar happened to me. I waited 2 months to get a replacement air tube for my Leshiy and a new regulator to boot and hears the new reg. The threads are narled up and cant screw on my gun and scratches on the outside of it

That is ugly looks like they did a number on that as well. This is getting crazy for me. Impact arrived with a flat spot in the reg rod. FX finally sent me another that was worse than the first then they sent me a good one afterwards. No locktight on the second stage piston on my new Yong Heng so it did not last long. So, three for three of the last three things I bought were defective. Each took at least two months to sort out. I think I need a cardboard sign to hang around my neck " Please sell me defective stuff for lots-o-money." ;^) Then there is my UTG, Hawke and Falcon scopes that all died. Poor Poor me in the first world. ;^) Still the addiction is alive and healthy with me and my Impact plenum arrived in perfect shape, got to put the first scratches on it myself, so It's all good.

I was waiting on an original Matador case, coming from US to NZ. USPS delivered it to someone in US only a few miles away from the sender. At least you got it.

Yes, and no. I shot it once since I put the plenum on then the daughter flew in from Salt Lake so I was home for a few days. After that had some werq done to the house so needed to be home while that was going on. With any luck I will get out to shoot again Friday. Really want to see what the Impact will do at it's max with the new plenum installed. But it is well tuned for the NSA 36.5s right now so guess I will have to re-tune it again later. Wanting to shoot different pellets with the Diana 54 to see if I can get more accuracy out of it as well. SK-19 barrel number two is on it's way back to Penchetta as it was damaged in shipment so no shooting it.

I got a set of carbon fiber tubes once...except I didn't. They came in a pvc pipe...that was empty. The end was torn right off. When I talked to the post office they said they didn't notice the end was missing. They never found the tubes...but luckily the company shipped me another set and those actually made it to me.

Despite that experience, I think a plastic pvc tube, vs. cardboard, is the way to ship a barrel. Just make sure you have the ends on good. I'd glue a screw on cap to it.

Glad you have other guns to enjoy, hard to believe that kinda damage happened during shipping on that barrel. I seen something about a Edgun pellets shooting well from the Diana 56. (18s) They say $#it comes in 3's maybe your safe for now...

I think a PVC tube is an excellent idea but I already sent it back in cardboard tube inside a very heavy cardboard tube with wood stapled in the ends. Thanks for the idea though I may use it if there is a next time.

Yes, I saw the post on the Edgun pellets I will have to try them in my 54. 

I got out and shot the Impact today with the new plenum trying to shoot up my supply of 36gr dimple nose slugs at about 70+fpe. Plinking at paint cans at 200 yards. Got 80+ good shots out of my 580cc tank, filled to 3500psi, before the POI dropped off. These slugs were not the best, others have done much better, I only hit a can about a third to a quarter of the time. But then again there was a 3-10mph wind in play.

I didn't see this post till this morning and thought about doing a little ranting of my own about UPS 

I saw a UPS driver kicking one of my packages to the door in front of him, I did not say anything negative to him simply came up to the gate told him that my phone was dead and asked if I could use his for a second when he handed it to me I made a fake call then I set it on the ground and acted as though I was going to kick it back to him... I will not quote his total expletive but it started along the lines of WHAT THE... '

I then let him see just how totally P.O I was got in his face and told him that I treat people the way they treat me and thought maybe he would like a taste of his own medicine. I then explained that it will not be his phone I kick the @#$@ out of if I ever see one of my packages handled like that again.

I am not proud of my loss of temper but I think at least one guy in brown will reconsider mishandling packages and I am almost positive his uniform was not the only thing brown after the confrontation.

We are opening a business and I get and ship quite a few packages my partner is beginning to get a little disgusted with me because I will not throw any of the packagings away I bet I spend an extra $5 in weight just in extra packaging to protect what I am shipping.

The world is definitely changing. I remember when people had pride in what they did, had respect for others property. I've had pretty good luck with my shipments. The thing that gets me is our previous mail carrier never ever delivered the mail without being on his phone the entire time. I guess I can't expect too much from a guy who wears his hair in a man-bun! I just don't get these younger generations at all. And their lack of respect while demanding it be given to them.

I’ve made great relationships with both my UPS drivers over the years, to the point where they have my cell number and text me the day they have a package for me, and when he’s within 15 minutes away from me. We e exchanged dinner recipes, I e given them tips on diesel truck tune ups, share family stories, etc. my stuff gets to me in great shape. My last Airgun I bought from Rangur1, I called my UPS guy to let him know exactly what it was and it needed to be babied. I wasn’t home to receive the package the day it arrived but he veered off his normal route and met me on the side of the road to make sure I had it that day. What it was was I missed him as he’s normally at my area around 2pm and it was 5pm and I was headed home. I called him up and he told me to be at this one spot and he’d get it to me. I remember it was pouring rain and snow was in the forecast. 

Cool thing too, is during the Xmas holidays he lets me know which gifts are the most popular for the time, as he gets to see what he’s delivering the most of. 

Same with my mailman. I made relationships with him too, and he stashes certain packages for me at a certain spot if the delivery boxes are full up and there’s no room for mine.

My point with all of this is you need to buddy up with the deliverer of your toys, lol.

Yes I feel things used to be better. Even when I was a long haired phreak back in the late 60s I still treated and had respect for private peoples and their stuff. State and county stuff that's another matter but I am good now with all of it.

I have a good relationship with my usps driver and had, until they changed drivers, a great relationship with my ups driver, although not as good as yours. But I still get trashed packages anyway.
