Ideas to do during lockdown.

Well, my country has a full lockdown in place, I'm out of co2 cartridges and all the stores are closed. I also am not allowed to even walk outside the house as the restrictions are extreme this time. Pretty much stuck at home with nothing to do. 

I was so bored I got some old paracord lines and made a game strap. It was quite easy actually and probably I saved some money instead of buying one. 

Made some targets for later when I get the chance to shoot them 

I got extremely bored to the point I measured the entire field next to my house using a 5meter measuring tape and measured it all the way(took some time tbh haha). And I now know the exact distances when I need to shoot(field is 35 meters in width which is a perfect range for me) Scouted the area a bit more, found and learnt the patterns that birds go through each day such as dove, blackbirds(pest wrhere I live at) and other species. 

I discovered that squirrels exist in my country I just never noticed lol. 

So you can say I'm one very bored man trying to fill his time during this strict lockdown..

Anyone got some bright ideas for me to do tomorrow?

If you have a scale weigh and sort pellets? That always burns up time. 


If you have sandpaper you could start a refinishing project on a rifle stock.

 I don’t know what to recommend. I have a few different hobbies. That way I can stay occupied pretty much anytime. I still build old hot rod car models. Or get yourself a low powered BB gun that you can shoot in the house. Don’t know the availability in your country but you can get them here pretty cheap.

Might be time to buy a break barrel. Then no need for C02. I have two PCPs but just picked up this Winchester 425, .22 cal (Diana 25 ). I’ve had it for two weeks now. Just mounted the BuG Buster scope last night. This is a sweet shooting little air rifle. Perfect for plinking.

Yup you should always have a lower powered single stroke pneumatic or spring gun for indoors. I prefer pistols for indoor shooting. Then all you have to do is think about which things to shoot. I shot my basement door once just cuz I wanted to check and see if my gun was loaded or not. Yup my little 1377 was loaded and yes it passed all the way through the hollow door. ;^) Lucky me. Some people shoot through their closed windows I see the pic here now and then. That werqs too! Always makes me smile when I see that pic. Then again some have shot their walls. I guess their guns were not accurate enough to hit the windows or doors? ;^) You just need to get a little creative to find the more exciting stuff to shoot. ;^)

I actually want to buy a springer again someday. Used to have a Chinese b2 one and they were only 30$ in Lebanon lol. I when I was 12 years old it was my first air rifle and it was so horrible but I still loved it to bits back then. I might buy it again.
