Idaho...the hogs are coming...WHICH IS BAD!!!

I was flipping through Google News and the local news from my region of Idaho came up. And well, since I first read wild hogs coming into Idaho there has been an effort to eliminate them, but they seem to be growing in numbers. I guess this will mean more things for people to hunt, and Idaho I can pretty much make these a non-game no limits species.

Bad for farmers and property owners but a lot of fun for all types of hunters.

I wonder if the hogs will make it to PA anytime soon.

I’m in west/central ID and hope they don’t get here! They’re devastating to crops. I’m from south AL and they’re reeking havoc on peanuts and corn crops!

@blackpaw Are you Stateside or still in Europe? We have plenty of them hogs down here. They can be hunted year round in private lands, otherwise they fall under the Big Game season.

All other comments aside, I hear from the folks down south they that can wipe out a well landscaped yard in no time. People can spend a ton of money doing a yard or having one done. You should have no problem gaining support from those people.

@chrisusa, one of the advantages states like Idaho has "naturally" against the hogs, apex predator like cougars and wolves that don't exist in other parts of the United States. If you look at sheer numbers per square miles of land. And I am sure that am sure for a cougar and wolves get the taste for hog, it will become a primary food source. I know hogs are tough, but a wolf pack will easily defeat a hog. If a wolf pack can take down a musk ox, then hogs are easy prey.

Yeah, here in Florida, I have seen areas that look like it was carpet bombed from them rooting up areas. They don't take all that long to do that either.
