I wish I could rent

Same issue with firearms, I buy, workup a load, after I get it to be the best it can be off of a bench (keep the loose nut as out of the process as possible) I get tired of it.

What I do is after I get things worked up, I will work on getting my skills to be as good as they are on the bench.

Face it any monkey can shoot off a rest, now stand up....go for it.

Also look at shooting in other days/ways.....work on reading the wind, I have several fusions in my neck so prone is very hard for me....I try to work on my prone skills again.

I understand what Y'all are talking about ! The first weekend in May I am headed to Malvern Ar to the airgun show. Two great days of looking at, talking about, selling and traiding AIRGUNS !

Plus just getting to shoot something you have always wanted to shoot but not truly interested in owning. Most of the time after a couple or three interesting questions or complements about someones guns there come the offer Hay Want To Shoot It? as the owner is handing it and a tin of pellets to you.

Buy sell or traid something and no shipping or packing other than slipping it in a gun case and carrying it to your car. many times at the end of the show as we are making the rounds saying good buy to airgun buddies that we only see once a year there is even the offer of helping to carry your plunder to the car.

If it sounds like I am getting excited about the show YOUR RIGHT ! Tired of buying something just to look at it or when it is finally shipped to you it does not fit you or your style. Find a airgun show, even better find some buddies and share the ride and room, bring some cash and training stock. Meet new friends at the show and have a great time. If things come together ride home with the excitement that only getting a new airgun gives !

If you get to Malvern be sure to stop at my table and say Hi ! I will have some deals and I am always looking for some.

Try some competition, especially some field target competition. Look it up and see if there are any matches close to you.

You will know what to practice, have fun doing it and probably meet some interesting people. Don't be afraid to get your feet wet, I'm sure they will welcome a new shooter.

There is a gun axiom: Beware the man with one gun. (Probably something from the Texas Rangers!)
