I have had both the Bull Whisper and the Wildcat Whisper rifles (both in .177), and have had them shoot 5 inch groups off center in which ever direction, at 25 meters. However, I currently have a Whisper Fusion Elite .22, a Whisper IGT .177, and a Silent Stalker .22, and have them shoot 1 inch groups at 35 meters. The only difference between these guns I can notice is that the accurate ones come with iron sights and the inaccurate ones didn't. I that the Bull Whisper rifles have a 2 in 3 chance of being bad, maybe that extends to all iron sightless Gamo rifles.

1 inch groups at 35 meters is pretty darn good!

I have the Gamo Whisper CFR in .177 (with iron sights) and found its very fussy about pellets. Like CharlieF I’ve had the best results with the H&N FTT 8.80 gr. The Crosmans were all over the place.

I’ve replaced the stock scope with a UTG 30mm SWAT 3-12x44 AO and have been getting mostly sub 1 inch groups at 30 yards with those pellets.

You may want to try a pellet sampler from Strightshooter.com, it’s a great way to try different pellets at a reasonable cost.
