I think I have a pest problem!!!

Air bastard is right. There are minimum distances for hunting near residential and commercial property. 1500 ft for rifles. 500 for shotgun or bows. Plus there's no challenge there. I have deer on my property as well but those families of deer are safe. I enjoy watching them and feed them from time to time. I go hunting on different properties. I live in CT. so those distances might vary from state to state.

"Keith2324"I wasn't thinking of hunting them. It was just my thinly veiled attempt at humor :). But these suckers are all over the place and they are not a pest at all. I rather enjoy having them in my yard.

Keith.
You say that now, but wait until they start attacking cars!

"In the United States, the state with the highest number of deer-vehicle collisions is Pennsylvania, with an estimated 115,000 collisions in 2013 causing $400 million in damage.[7] West Virginia is the state with the highest risk that a motorist will hit a deer while driving"

I see you like riding as I do. Those cute deer will knock you off that bike on the way home. I have had several very close calls. Those things are organic, free range and just tasty. Deer, its whats for dinner.

I have had a couple of scares while riding but the old adage holds true even with animals; "Loud pipes save lives." :)

Two years ago I lost the left front end of the car to a deer. Thought I had him missed till he took a sharp U-turn and turned back in front of the car.

In one 3 mile stretch to the cabin last year I counted 16 deer. They're thicker than flies here in central Missouri. Beautiful animals and I enjoy watching them...and they're not bad eating...LOL

I put 2 small noise sirens on the front of the car...hope this works but in rutting season they just go wild...LOL
