I sprung a ....

LEAK! It's an FX Royale 500 in 0.25 with the FX Regulator installed by AOA.

The symptom is there is a leak sound after the fun is fired, and lasts for maybe 20-40 seconds. It's very faint - it needs to be quiet in order to hear it.

AND ... it does not happen all the time.

The gun seems to shoot fine (accuracy-wise).

I'm trying to isolate where it is. I **THINK** I can hear the leak near where the barrel attaches - so in front of the block.

Suggestions? Ideas? Where to look and how to solve this would be great. I've never taken the gun apart to do anything to it.

Thanks!

If it were a "leak" you'd be losing air. Are you? If it is an internal problem the gun would exhibit shooting problems.

I hear this in my impact, but it only lasts a couple of seconds. It is the plenum stabilizing. I understand we should give the gun 9 seconds or so to stabilize between shots for maximum regulator consistency.
