The way I know is it has a gland for an O-ring inside of valve housing that surrounds the valve stem. What I’ve been told by several people including Rick Wellknicker is it’s one of the first thousand. Walnut stock also. I thought it was weird schematics didn’t show the O-ring.
So, I’m wondering how much more flow I’d get if O-ring was removed. Enough for say 21 grain slugs?
I have the 3 upgraded valve screws, Air Magnum power adjuster via preload & quick spring change, brass trigger & 3 screw mod. I’ve whacked Crows at a known 110 yards with 10.5 Crosmans. Went right through. So I’m really wondering if removing that rare valve stem ring would increase flow when desired significantly.
I do wish to put a custom 26-28” barrel on her also.
