....i think you'll like it and it will probably be collectable , so save the box and paperwork. not sure why crosman decided to put the sheridan name on a .22 cal gun , but sheridans were always .20 cals (except for a few .22 sheridan supergrades in the late 1940's)....funny how the .20 cylindricals made by crosman today say 'benjamin' on the can - benji never made a .20 cal.. i think the sheridan guys that started that company are rolling over in their graves about the sheridan cowboy cock bb rifle..... with the tko stage 5 silencer ($50 or less) and a good backstop, it would be quiet enough for backyard shooting, especially if youre shooting from inside the house thru an open door or window. this gun was previously marketed as a 2260se , and the .177 version was a 1760se ..... you chose a good pelletgun. - paul.
