I have two PCPs my Bantam Sniper HR and my Compatto... I feel guilty because I shoot the Bantam and the Compatto has been sitting lonely for quite a while. Am trying to avoid having too many guns I don’t use... like my safe full of powder burners... For what these PCPs costs, plus dressing them up? I’m hesitant to add more that just duplicate what I can already do with what I have... so yes I’m happy with my two.

I also am down to four and currently have no interests in any others. There are a couple I wouldn’t mind owning but don’t want to spend money on a rifle I will not shoot that much. Mine are all FX, but I have owned other top tier airguns, just prefer FX. Two impacts (my go to guns for pesting), FX 400 and a wildcat mk 1 in .25. The rest are .22. I shoot my .25 the least.

Hmmmm, I managed to make it one year without buying an airgun and thought I was happy with six? But something kicked in these past two months and I wound up with two more for a total of eight.

Cricket 2 in .22 and Huben in .22 on my radar. Dang it....then I'll need two more scopes and bipods if I don't sell something?

I'm the type of person who, when I get into a hobby, get's REALLY into a hobby. I like to try everything from the cheap to the expensive and make my decisions after hands-on experience. One of the unfortunate problems with most of my hobbies is that there is no storefront to buy from - it's all online purchases and either return or resell used. I try to resell used most of the time as I know many of the places I purchase from are small mom&pop stores and and returning a lot of stuff can really hurt a small companies profits to eat because that can't just be turned around again and sold as new (even though I know some bigger box airgun companies that do that).

It was 2016 when I got back in airgunning and heavily invested into PCP. I've definitely bought and sold 20+ air rifles in that time not because there was anything wrong with them. Some because I was bored and most because they just weren't up to my standards in some area: fit, feel, performance, triggger, tunability, precision, etc. 

Now - as of December 2020 I am down to 4 air rifles (and a small assortment of PCP pistols) and I am very happy with them and want for nothing more when I browse the classifieds here or web stores. Well maybe a Delta Wolf, but only after it's been out for a bit and I see some reviews.

So here is my perfect list:

  • FX Ranchero Carbine .22 w/ Steve Corcoran stock
  • EVOL Mini .22
  • Leshiy 2 .22 / .25 / .30
  • 2020 Huben K1 .22

The Huben is still new to me as a trade for my Leshiy Classic. I am very happy with it so far. 65+ fpe in .22 is pretty insane.

Each one of the airguns in capable of hole-on-hole with the right pellet or slug.

Congratulations! It's really awesome to read how happy you are. 

I'd love to hear the "top reason" why each one made your list. eg: FX400 - smooth, easy, accurate, and enjoyable to shoot. DS Red Wolf - most accurate of the group.

Tom - happy to. I was going to do it in the OP but didn't want it to get too wordy.

  • FX Ranchero Carbine .22 w/ Steve Corcoran stock - small light carbine, wonderful match trigger, hole-in-hole out to 30 yards easy, just a nice I want to pick up and airgun and casually shoot to relax kinda gun, nice off-hand shooter.
  • EVOL Mini .22 - my target gun, capable of 3/8" groups at 50 yards, amazing trigger, stout threaded barrel assembly, TJs barrel
  • Leshiy 2 .22 / .25 / .30 - just so much fun to shoot and so far very accurate, easy to tune for any setting in minutes, not pellet picky
  • 2020 Huben K1 .22 - still new to me but it's got a good trigger, ease of tuning, accurate with heavy ammo and the right slugs. 

Don't get me wrong - I'm sure 1 year from now at least one of these airguns will have rotated out of the stable.

I have three rifles now, the fourth went to the USA a couple of weeks ago. And I do see myself getting another rifle in the spring and have it dedicated sub-12 ft/lbs gun for HFT.

What I have now is:

- EdGun Leshiy 2 in .177 (I will get either a .22 cal or 25 cal barrel for it)

- Taipan Vet Compact in .25 cal

- FX Impact MK II PP .22 cal.

But if I move back to the USA in 2022, I will most likely get a Daystate Revere in .22 or a similar.

I have 8 right now and trying to keep it that way as soon I move to the new home will see if all of them stay or reduce it to only 5 .. but definitely will not plan to own more than 10... even if I hit the jackpot did not se my self collecting useless toys...still wouldn't have more than 10...in reality as many mentioned you only use 3 or 4 the rest is just stored..I usually use 4 the pellet shooters.. the bullet shooters one or 2 times a year at best ..

    fortunately thanks to covid I have lots of time to shoot but unfortunately I can only shoot super low power guns and no one to shoot with. The only consolation is they are like my Lego sets and Like my son with his lego sets I’m constantly changing my guns to be something different.

Well, currently I only have two, an FX Royale 400 PCP and a Benjamin Marauder PCP (both .22's) but just bought a Diana 460 Magnum from AirGunDepot. It's on backorder (shoot every where I looked, it was on backorder) and should be back in stock on Jan 4, 2021. I always wanted springer, but didn't want a break barrel kind, I want an under barrel one. I'm looking forward to not having to use my scuba tank to air it up.
