I need some help-a strange pin fell out of my rifle, now it won't fire...

Hey Y'all.

I was out shooting my Webley Raider yesterday (practicing for the Pyramyd Air Cup) and having a blast, when suddenly my gun wouldn't expel air through the barrel. I cocked the gun several times and pulled the trigger which only yielded a click, no puff of air which to me indicates that the sear of breaking. I then looked down and noticed that a "pin" (I'm not sure what exactly it is, but it is a small steel rod, about 6/16ths of an inch long) had fallen out of my rifle. At first I suspected this was a trigger pin, but the trigger functions fine and when I removed the stock I could not detect any absent trigger pins. The pin has a small protruding head that is a smaller diameter than the rest of the pin (I tried to highlight this in the pictures). I have not taken the rifle completely apart yet because I do not posses the tinkering prowess to do so with any resemblance of confidence in my self-I'm having one of my shooting buddies help me with that.
This is a huge bummer because the Pyarmyd Air Cup is fast approaching and would like to know my gun is in working order before then. Does anyone have a clue as to what this part is and how I can remedy this? Perhaps it is a part of the hammer/valve assembly?

I'll post pictures and a link to the schematic for my Webley raider.

Thanks,
Nico

Here's the schematic (disregard the Magazine Unit portion in the upper right, mine is the single shot variant):

That's interesting that the link only shows pictures of my R10, when I click on the link there are numerous pictures of the raider-I'll try to sort that out.

Yes, I found the pin on the ground while I was shooting-before I took the stock off the rifle.

The exact model of my rifle is a 2001 Webley Raider, single shot that manufactured by FX.

Thanks,
Nico

Thank you all for the replies.

I diagnosed the problem with the help of a buddy of mine at the shooting range today. Apparently, the valve stem physical broke off from the rest of the system. Damn. I did some further research and discovered that this was the "Achilles heel" of the Webley Raider. I believe I can order a replacement from England.

Looks like I'll be using my back-up rifle at the PA cup.

Once again, thanks for all your help.
Nico
