Hello Lewis

Sentinel 8-32/10-40 MOA Clicks are good for airgun using but not suggested for Spring airgun Double recoil.

I am sorry that i am not good at recommending optics for you cause i live in China not able to use any weapons.

new product development for airgun using is also a goal this year and 2021

Thank you for your supports!

We always keep fool and appreciated to received your suggestions about airgun riflescopes development.

Sincerely

Are the scopes you suggested magnum spring airgun rated?

As I stated earlier I had emailed bot of the addresses provided by Zucker. Today I received this response.

"The Sentinel 8-32 and 10-40 can fit caliber .22 at maximum for air rifle.

It can be used on your RWS 56."

This makes me more than a little nervous since I am getting different answers from different people in the company.

I wonder what the warranty support might be like later if one should fail.

I know "Magnum" means more recoil , but actually do not know exactly how much it brings the difference.

the answer is "yes, you can try on Mag"

If scope failed, just email us, provide warranty for you

Is it possible to tell me about "magnum" in airgun field.

Sincerely

The guy who replied to you is Ryan, who is new fresh in VO company.

He just have a recoil reference table for scopes but not clear about he durability of different scopes.

I already talked with him and the result is he will talk with me before answering such recoil/durability questions.

sorry for the inconvenience

Sincerely

Lewis I would personally only use a LIFETIME WARRANTY scope on a 56 PERIOD.

FYI, Vector Optics has a good reputation with models like the TAC Vector Taurus 3-18x50FFP https://youtu.be/PC9vheiacEU  with Optics Planet selling them now for $259

and their new 34mm Continental line that just came out has a lifetime warranty and they are 56; look for a new Cyclops review on them very soon! That scope has impressive specs, 5x30x56FFP - goes down to 10 yard parallax,6 levels of illumination, 1/10 mil, zero stop, locking turrets, 26 mil elevation, and German Schott glass and comes with rings, sun shade, only 28.6 oz https://www.vectoroptics.com/products/view/id/SCFF-30.html Optics Planet has them for $809.10 with free shipping.

Thanks Zucker! That was helpful. I am still wanting to see Joe Rhea's Cyclops review as he always has a set series of tests that he puts every scope thru and I like his no BS honest reviews. He told me he is going to be testing the 5-30x56FFP 34mm Continental as soon as it arrives which is the model I am very eager to see but it is good to see that this scope which is also in the 34mm line tested well.

I recently took delivery of this one. Only negative for me is the extreme difficulty to actually see the ultra fine reticle at 4x-7x when not specifically looking at white targets and seems to disappear in the brush and pretty dang thick at 24x. Otherwise it's a nice scope. It's the 30mm version. I would prefer a SFP version.

Does the illumination help with that?

I know the 34mm Continental and their Continental Tactical both have center dot illuminated with digital lines and dots; the Continental Tactical is SFP. The Continental Hunting is also SFP but does not have the center dot illuminated just the same illumination yours has... For me I prefer the FFP which is why I am looking at the 34mm Continental series which are all FFP.

It can't be seen at 4x in the daylight. It is a lot smaller than a pinhead.

Nothing wrong with the scope it's just that the reticle disappears at low magnification when taken out into the field hunting. Just keep it at 8-9x at minimum then it's good for me. They can't help it all FFP wide range 6x zoom or greater because If the reticle was more visible at 4x then at maximum power the reticle would be like a telephone pole and it's already too thick as it is at maximum magnification with the near invisible lowest magnification levels.

This made realize FFP Just isn't for me because I can't use the lowest power settings. Wouldn't mind a SFP version of this scope though at least I could see the reticle and the entire zoom range would be useful for me.
